At times, when you're on the road, when you feel that things are taking a new turn, then it's time to change.

After having spent more than a year in Lisbon, I had this instinct, which would soon be gone, so I had the intuition to produce a record before leaving it. The idea was to record the sounds of the city, and the sound of the musicians I met.

I couldn't finish it while I was there, right after I actually left Portugal, and started editing in Bratislava, in a panel building in Petržalka. But L.I.S. it can only be completed at FAVU art studios in Brno, Czech Rep., thanks to my soul brother Ondrej Merta (at the moment, leading the start up github.com/standuino).

Eventually we can say, this album was a mishap.

Às vezes, quando você está na estrada, quando sente que as coisas estão tomando um novo rumo, é hora de mudar.

Depois de ter passado mais de um ano em Lisboa, tive esse instinto, que logo ia acabar, então tive a intuição de fazer um disco antes de sair. A ideia era gravar os sons da cidade e os sons dos músicos que conheci.

Não consegui terminar enquanto estava lá, logo depois de realmente sair de Portugal e começar a editar em Bratislava, num edifício de painéis em Petržalka. Mas L.I.S. só pode ser concluído nos estúdios de arte FAVU em Brno, Rep. Tcheca, graças ao meu irmão de alma Ondrej Merta (no momento, liderando o start up github.com/standuino).

Eventualmente, podemos dizer que este álbum foi um acidente.
